Established in 1933, Markides, Markides & Co. is one of the oldest law firms in Cyprus. Founded by the late Frixos Markides, a doyen of the legal profession on the island, the office was restructured by Mrs Hermione A. Markides and further expanded, by a merger with the Law Office of…more John Spanopoulos and the admission of other partners, a decade later. Although no longer a family firm, our offices are located in a traditional Nicosia town house, owned by the Markides family, conveniently situated next to the Supreme Court of Cyprus and at the centre of most of the Administration buildings.
